Vogler Annotation

Throughout our Vogler reading we learned what the threshold guardian, herald, shape shifter, shadow, ally, and the trickster. The threshold guardian is one becomes an ally or an enemy in any given situation. The herald archetype is usually a god like voice from above giving guidance. Another is the shape shifter, a shape shifter is usually a member of the opposite sex usually someone who helps with storytelling. Shadows are the villains, enemies, and antagonists. Usually they are crazy and are the cause of massive destruction or killing.

Overall I thought this reading was a great way to show us the reader what is needed to write a good story.

Disney Character

If I were to be a Disney Character I would be

Who is Crush's son From Pixar's Finding Nemo. Like Crush, he seems to be relatively relaxed about things, although he maintains a lot of energy. He has a very hard head. He he helps give instruction to Marlin and Dory on how to exit the East Australian Current, but because he tends to speak with 'surfer' lingo and very quickly, they can't understand what he says. This all relates to me because I am a surfer with a kind heart I like to help people but like to have fun at the same time I am a very laid back kind of guy. I like this charater because he is young and fallows the footsteps of his father and other turtles along the EAC. Exactly how I am I fallow my father with the things he does ask him for advice and he helps me with look at life the way I do. I think of Life to be simple, why have stress in it if you don't have to My father always says "you can do anything you want as long as you put your mind to it". I firmly believe this the things I do in my life are because I want to sometimes I have my down falls but I just turn to surfing and the beach to lighten my way hit helps me heal my stress and be one with nature like we all should belong to. We were put here on this earth to preserve it take what we need and leave the rest to enjoy. Also Crush Squirt's father lives to be 100 yrs old which I believe that in life if you live without stress you will live longer.
